Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee our retail store operations. The ideal candidate will be a leader with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and staff supervision
- Develop and implement strategies to increase store traffic and meet sales goals
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to provide excellent customer service
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock is replenished in a timely manner
- Conduct interviews, hire qualified candidates, and provide ongoing training and development for staff
- Handle cash register operations and ensure accuracy in cash handling procedures
- Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable pricing and terms
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Skills:
- Proven experience in team management within a retail setting
- Strong understanding of retail math and ability to analyze sales data
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling financial transactions
- Demonstrated ability in training development for staff members
- Excellent negotiation skills with vendors and suppliers
- Knowledge of stock management principles to optimize inventory levels
- Experience in conducting interviews and hiring processes
